Synopsis
Casa Ebro, a remote monastery on the outskirts of Barcelona, has been steeped in rumors of curses and black magic since the Spanish Civil War. Long abandoned and surrounded by dense woods, it remains a place locals avoid — a site where grief and superstition linger.
After the death of her son, Myra, a grief counselor, retreats from the city and organizes a support gathering for bereaved parents at Casa Ebro. While Myra insists on acceptance and moving forward, her patients remain trapped in their losses. One mother, Lisbeth, claims her child’s spirit visits her nightly, blurring the line between grief, delusion, and something more unsettling.
As tensions rise, Myra’s teenage daughter Lillie, struggling with her own unresolved grief and resentment, begins to question her mother’s resolve. When secrets surface and belief begins to overtake reason, the retreat becomes a crucible where past and present collide. What awaits at Casa Ebro threatens to awaken forces long buried — and challenge what it truly means to let go.
